A riverside picnic for midwives

When our pal Katy from Moon and Star events needed a coffee van to complete a picnic set up for Sarah from Baby Moon events, we jumped at the chance.

Serving morning coffee to a group of student midwives on the banks of the Swan River? Yes please!

While Sarah and her students worked through their self-care workshop up stairs at the Waylen Bay Sea Scout Hall (this is a fab venue if you’re after a riverside location with beautiful views), Katy and her team created picnic magic on the grass down stairs. Then it was coffee coffee coffee time!

On the menu: Barista coffees, teas and hot chocolate with dairy and milk alternatives.

Drink of the day: Almond cappuccino

Best bit: Midwives! Fab people doing an fab job.

Lessons learnt: Betty loves to be riverside, and won’t let a gravelly hill stop her getting there.
